Who We Are

Rock Advisors Inc., Brokerage was founded by CEO, Derek Lobo, as a subsidiary of DALA (Derek A. Lobo & Associates), approaching four decades ago. DALA remains the principal consultancy arm of the business.

Operating as a commercial real estate brokerage and consulting company, Rock Advisors is exclusively passionate about apartments, serving private apartment developers and multigenerational families. Derek’s vision has recently included the creation of the National Apartment Council, the voice of private apartment developers, which is instrumental in working with Canada’s federal government and apartment developers.

Starting out purely as a brokerage, Rock Advisors has today, evolved into a complete Apartment Developer Solution Provider firm. As creators of the Apartment Development FULL Service Experience™, Rock Advisors is often referred to as The Developer of Developers, due to the extensive value-creation for our clients.

 At Rock Advisors, our clients engage us in the entire apartment development timeline, from the dream of the concept, all the way through to completion, and sometimes the sale.
